How to remove windows splash screen?

Windows XP has many little tweaks and tricks you can do to make your
PC just a little better. Here’s one that will have you saying “Go Speedracer, Go!”
You know that Windows XP splash screen you see when you turn on your
computer…well, you don’t need to sit through thatanymore, so let’s get rid of it.
 Here’s what you’ll need to do:

1)Click on your Start Button
2)Click on the Run
3)In the browser box, type: MSCONFIG
4)Click OK
5)Click the BOOT.INI tab
6)Check the /NOGUIBOOT box
7)Click Apply, then OK&When it asks you to restart, please do so
